During my first class we used pinch collars and popped the dogs with the leash At my second class (different business) got fussed at because I brought a pinch collar and I popped my dog on the rear with my leash. They made use a choke chain only. My lab doesn't give a flying frick about a choke chain. The first class was more effective.
