Detection dog training video of the K-9 BSD behavior shaping device which uses a “active” remote controlled reinforcement. Creating true prey hunt drive in detector dog training by disconecting the handler and trainer from the reinforcement. The dog self learns action is at the odor source creating a conditioned responce to trained odor. Unmatched drive and focus for training alert and hunting behaviors with detector dog training. Effective with explosives, narcotics or cadaver detection canines. Effective for training both directional sends and alert behaviors such as those required by FEMA & USAR. The K-9 BSD is currently in use with a wide variety of profesional dog trainers. To include 200 plus Police K-9 units, MWD Military Working Dog, US Border Patrol, US Capital Police, Department Homeland Security, Private Security, SAR Search and Rescue, IED, Mine, Bomb detection operations in 12 different countries around the world. Thats cool! He looks like a young dog, is he? I want to do dog handling for the british army ^^
ILOVE DOGS
Kind of like a bird box for upland game training. We put a live bird in a box with holes and let the dog find it to teach them not to rush the bird. If its a pointing dog we set it up and release the bird when the dog is where we want it to be and in position. Non pointing dogs are taught to freeze, kind of a passive alert. Then we hit the remote and the bird pops up, and if the wings are clipped, the bird drops and then the dog is sent to retrieve.
thats cool
