I just bought a Yorkie puppy yesterday and I felt so sad when I had to crate him last night. He whined and barked for about 30 minutes but he eventually calmed down and was quiet as a mouse throughout the night. He is not in the bedroom though but we are going to try it tonight! Thanks!
you are really good with dogs thanks
but what if they have to pee in the middle of the night? can a 2mo old puppy hold it for that long or is it necessary to wake up at 3am to let her out to eliminate??
@megasony81 You can, but make sure it’s not longer than 10 minutes. The key is to take him back outside to try and potty again. Or, if you’re able to hold your puppy you can do that too and take him right back outside. You just don’t want him to have free reign of your house if he didn’t potty when he should have…make sense?
Should I put my puppy right back into his crate if he didn’t go Potty outside
